Well, Nate hasn't taken any more steps on his own, and he's back to being just as unstable and wobbly as he was before Friday. So we can't wait to start this Listening Therapy with him! We ordered the headphones on Saturday and hope they come in pronto!
On Saturday we went to Lexington to visit my parents and brother. We did a little shopping, went out to dinner, and went back to Lucas' house. Lucas has a tray of little smooth stones on his coffee table, and Nate thinks this is a toy just for him. He loves playing with those rocks. At one point, he asked Lucas to get him some clean socks to play with! After we got home, I asked Nate, "What did we do today?" He said, "Rocks and socks! Play with Granna and Pop and Lucas' house!" I cracked up that what stuck out most in his mind from the day was rocks and socks.
Last time we were at the store, I got Nate some little grape tomatoes. When he sees big tomatoes, he calls them apples, but when he saw these, they were right beside the bananas, so he said, "BananaMatos!" Today I gave him some tomatoes and cheese for a snack and he's STILL calling them bananaMatos!
