Stroll and Roll!

Well, thanks to everyone who donated to Team Nate for the SBAK Stroll and Roll! We raised $565! And today was the big day. They had it in this gorgeous neighborhood (that I now want to live in!), and the walk was about a mile. There was trick or treating for the kids along the way, and at the end was a fall festival with bouncy houses, a chili contest, live music, raffle, etc. Kids were encouraged to wear costumes, but it wouldn't have mattered because Nate would have worn his Thomas costume anyway! We visited with lots of our friends during the walk, and Nate got lots of candy. He also had a good time in the bouncy house and tasting chili. Georgia slept like a log in her carrier the whole time. Fortunately, it was a beautiful day, but it was cold! That wind was painful! At least it wasn't raining. Nate didn't want to leave. He told me, "It's not fun anymore to go home." Ha!
